LPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, 43mm, 18K gold original Patek Philippe HC, signed gold cuvette engraved "Made for A.B. Griswold & Co, New Orleans," white enamel dial, SW-SS with Adrien Philippe's early keyless mechanism with crown winding in one direction only (no provision for coast in reverse direction), fully capped lever escapement with moustache counterpoise, 19J, wolf's tooth winding, gilt mvt, s#18568 to cuvette. Watch comes as pictured with a 14K gold clasp and jump ring attached to its bow. Gross weight of assembled watch plus attached 14K gold element 44.6 dwt (69.2 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few scattered short fine to micro-fine scratches, few very mild small bits of oxide to steelwork; visible portion of dial with hl between center and 4:30; excellent hands; case with broken or missing lift spring causing opened front lid to fall freely opened or closed with gravity, case shows hardly any wear, ding to upper-left shoulder of front, ding to band at 10:30, some nicks elsewhere to band, superb engine turning detail; bow pivots freely, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
