LPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, 42mm, 18K gold original Patek Philippe HC with spring-loaded front and rear released by split-push, signed gold cuvette, white enamel dial with seconds-register at 9:30, KWKS (a key is included with this lot as pictured), lever escapement with counterpoise and capped lever, 17J, gilt mvt, s#6971 within case. Comes as pictured with an interesting unmarked leather box and with a gold Breguet style ratchet winding key. Gross weight of assembled watch 34.5 dwt (53.5 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance is gummy, overhaul needed, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches and surface spots; visible portion of dial with chipping around affixing screw at 9, hl at 10:30; nearly mint hands; case shows very little wear, ding to upper-right shoulder of front, ding to lower shoulder of rear, excellent engine turning detail, case front opens a bit wide of 90 degrees (to approximately 105 degrees) and lift spring allows lid to tilt freely with gravity a bit back toward closed, cuvette with some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches from past key slips; tight bow, split-push shows little wear; good glass crystal. Box shows light wear, minor areas of finish loss to exterior. Key shows little wear. Estimate: $2,000 - $2,600 JH-75373
