(Air Corps) "Navigation Master Watch" with winding indicator and hacking sweep-seconds, 54mm, chrome-plated base metal OF Longines case, replaced case rear with name, locations, and WWII era years engraved to rear, silvered dial marked GCT (Greenwich Civil Time), SW-hack-set with center-seconds, fully capped lever escapement, 21J, mono-metallic balance, snail-cam regulator, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, caliber 21.29, s#6073284. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, inconsistent hacking function will engage part of the time and only when crown is held fully out, slightly stiff to wind, good winding indicator function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, cluster of short scratches to right portion of plate by screw, scattered fine scratches throughout, light oxide to steelwork; dial with clusters of tiny dark spots at winding register hole and many scattered tiny spots to visible portion throughout, scattered areas of paint loss to outer portion; excellent hands; case rear markings align nearly upside down and case rear has mismatched s# to case band, case shows ample wear, many scattered scratches and small nicks to band, reduced engraving detail with few small areas of loss, chrome finish loss to rear presumable from polishing off contract markings, thick ring of finish loss to band; bow pivots freely, crown shows ample wear; plastic crystal with few short fine scratches.
