WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Zephyr," ref 1038, circa 1970, 34mm x 41mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with yellow gold textured bezel, yellow gold and stainless steel folded link Oyster bracelet signed Rolex, original silvered cross hair dial with lume painted indices, 26J cal 1570, s#2262662, triple signed with signed clasp, riveted bracelet ref 7205 with 61 end links, inside back ref 1038 with a IV.69 date code. This late Zephyr model would make an excellent addition to any Rolex collection. This particular example is part of the third (and final) generation with attractive paddle-style hands and a stunning silvered crosshair dial. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, a few fine scratches to rotor and plates, hardly any oxide; excellent dial, light spotting around coronet from apparent glue; excellent hands show very light spotting; polished case shows light wear, bezel retains its defined texture, light dings case sides and lugs; bracelet shows ample wear, significant stretch; replacement crown shows very little wear, good threads; good plastic crystal.
