WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer Bubbleback, ref 2940, circa 1957, 32mm x 39mm to lug tips, 17mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case, no strap, refinished silvered dial with applied gold numerals, 18J, s#310104, triple signed, inside back ref 2940. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, poor cosmetic mvt condition overall, ample oxide to steelwork, plates, and rotor; refinished dial with a few light surface spots; fine hands show light tarnish and pitting; polished head shows light wear, light dings on the backs and lugs, caseback shows some tool marks from a slipped wrench; Rolex signed crown shows little wear, good threads; good plastic crystal.
