APW - Elgin, 15J, 16S, 14K gold original HC, name engraved inside front, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#1399998. Gross weight of assembled watch 77.2 dwt (120.1 g). Comes with brass stand as pictured. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, very slight resistance when winding and setting especially when crown is turned in reverse direction, fine mvt condition overall, cloudy plates with few smaller darker spots, many scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, ample oxide to case screw; dial with short edge hl under bezel at 3, short faint hl at 7, few minuscule edge flakes at center-hole, few areas of very light edge wear under bezel; nearly mint hour hand, excellent seconds-hand, fine-plus minute hand with ample oxide to tip; case front latch having trouble depressing via crown so case needs to be snapped open/closed, evident solder repair of front planchet seam visible inside lid, less noticeable solder repair of rear planchet seam visible inside lid, case shows ample wear, no dents or dings, substantially reduced engine turning detail with areas of full loss to cover perimeters and shoulders, overall cloudy toning to surfaces with scattered areas of a darker yellow/brown, scattered tiny spots of dark yellow toning inside cuvette; tight bow, crown shows very light wear; missing crystal.
