APW - Illinois, Bunn Special, 23J 60 Hour, Type III mvt marking, white gold-filled OF original Bunn Special Model case, "Illinois Bunn Special 23 Jewel 60 Hour" marked white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, rayed pattern nickel damascene, s#5216228. CONDITION: Mvt: NR, ticking in some positions but stopping in others, excess escapement noise when held in various positions, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, few tiny spots of oxide to click screw; dial with long thin edge chip within seconds-register at 60, as-made finish imperfection at 9, light bevel wear under bezel; excellent hands with few tiny spots of oxide and finish loss; case shows little wear, mild ding to band at 7:30 and few tiny mild dings and tiny nicks elsewhere, thin partial strip of wear to brass beginning to form to bezel edge; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
