Painting measures 8-inch x 6-inch, rear with partial slip of paper from past owner referencing appraisal history by Sotheby's. "Pieter Hendrik Koekkoek (13 January 1843, Hilversum - 7 August 1927, Amsterdam) was a Dutch romanticist landscape painter. Because he signed his paintings "H. P. Koekkoek," he is usually referred to as Hendrik Pieter. He is part of the Koekkoek family of painters, being the son of the elder Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek." - Wikipedia CONDITION: Condition: Painting and frame in excellent condition overall, painting with few thin short lines of paint loss presumably from pressure by the frame edge, some very light dust to paint surfaces, currently sits slightly lower than frame leaving a small gap to top edge; gilded frame with few scattered small spots of finish loss, few short fine splits to ornate details. Estimate: $600 - $1,200 JH-78150
