LPW - Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, 37mm, very heavy 18K gold original American-made HC by J&S (Jeannot & Shiebler) with exquisite melee of European cut and mine cut diamonds set to rear in form of floral detail and to front in form of initials, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, lever escapement with moustache counterpoise, 16J, wolf's tooth winding, nickel damascene, s#291274. Gross weight of assembled watch 37.6 dwt (58.4 g). A beautiful North American market Vacheron & Constantin, highlighted by its diamond-set gold hunting case which is notably very heavy for its size. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, toning of plates, small oxide spot to ratchet wheel; nearly flawless dial with few small micro-fine scratches; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, mild dent to band at 5 with associated surface roughness, small ding to band at 6:30, small patch of abrasion to band at 10:30, superb engraving detail, all diamonds present; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
