LPW - Waltham, P.S. Bartlett, 15J, 10S, 18K gold original A.W.Co. HC with beautiful engine turning and engraving detail, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), gilt mvt, s#571261. Comes as pictured with a fitted leather watch elegantly marked "American Watch" that contains an unfilled factory certificate, and also a circular paper insert listing attributes that do not fully match to the present watch. Gross weight of assembled watch 46.4 dwt (72.1 g); gross weight of 18K gold hunting case without movement, crystal and push assembly 25.2 dwt (39.2 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, likely broken balance staff, overhaul needed, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, haze and spotting to main plate, some micro-fine scratches; visible portion of dial with horizontal line of flaking above seconds-register; case shows hardly any wear, ding to left perimeter of rear, mild small ding to lower-right perimeter of rear, excellent engine turning and engraving detail, cuvette with profuse fine scratches from past key slips; tight bow, push shows little wear; good glass crystal.
