EPW - Mathey-Tissot, Swiss, La Captive purse or travel watch, 17J, 33mm x 48mm while closed (29mm tall when fully opened), silver shuttered case that opens when sides are squeezed which allows the inner watch case to flip open and sit upright, silvered dial with lume painted Arabic numerals, SW-SS, lever escapement, s#13189 to case. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus mvt condition overall, medium oxide to plates, spotting to barrel, one screw missing from plates; fine-plus dial with light and even surface spotting; fine-plus hands with some lume loss to minute hand; case shows light wear, ample small dings to front and back of case, scrapes around areas where sides push in to the inner case, the hinge that holds the watch head is missing one of the screws so it wobbles when standing, some scrapes around top of watch head bezel; crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
