Clock lot (2) Small desk or travel clocks, 8-day, sterling silver cases, white enamel dials, both NR with overhaul needed - [1] Tiffany & Co. marking to dial and to interior of case, mvt by Continental Lemania, Inc, Swiss, 8-day with alarm, measures approximately 3.1 inches length x 2.6 inches width x 0.9 inches height when closed, case opens into a triangular form to stand and inner folding portion of case with Tiffany & Co. marking, portion of case surrounding watch is nickel-plated, lever escapement, 15J, nickel damascene, no visible s#, setting mechanism remaining in engagement regardless of crown position, folding case having trouble closing securely and needs some patience and firm pressure to latch closed, overhaul needed; gross weight of assembled clock 160.7 dwt (250.0 g). [2] Black Starr & Frost, New York marking to dial and side of case, not disassembled to inspect mvt type, measures approximately 4 inches length x 2.7 inches width x 1.2 inches height, case with engraved initials, wound and set from underside, no external s#, likely broken mainspring with an audible slip heard when winding is attempted, giving the clock a twist causes no audible escapement action, comes as pictured with a fitted leather Black Starr & Frost marked box with integrated rear stand; gross weight of assembled clock 287.7 dwt (447.5 g).
