WW - Longines Flyback Chronograph, ref 6474-1, manual wind, 37mm x 46mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back case with round pump pushers, replacement bottom pusher in chrome, no strap, refinished silvered dial with radium painted Arabic numerals, two inset subregisters for minute recording and subsidiary seconds, 18J cal 30ch, s#8755199, case #20, triple signed. This is one of less than 8 known examples of the 6474-1, truly a great option for the lover of vintage Longines that wants to daily wear what some would consider a Holy Grail. CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, watchmaker's overhaul needed, hour recorder doesn't reset to zero, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork, light scratches to plates, surface spotting throughout; fine refinished dial with crazing throughout, a few surface spots and larger stain at 5; fine-plus blued painted hands; case shows medium wear, several small dents on case sides and lugs, lower pusher has had plating wear off and has small hole on the back, tool marks and bent edge to case back, inner case back has had the reference number scratched off; original unsigned crown shows little wear; plastic crystal would benefit from a polish or replacement.
