Waltham, lever escapement 8-day marine chronometer with winding indicator, 37S mvt, 15J, gimbaled brass tub set within a three-tier wooden box with Waltham plaque, silvered dial of approximately 2.75 inch diameter, SW-SS, lever escapement, nickel mvt, s#22228720, includes original key. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, a few fine scratches, hardly any oxide; dial with a fine scratch near "60" of the seconds-register and a light surface stain under the Waltham logo; excellent-plus hands; tub shows light wear, heavy finish loss throughout (including crown); good glass crystal; gimbals with heavy finish loss; box shows light wear, many scratches on the right side of the box, fine scratches and mild nicks throughout, button latches good, locking key is present with good locking function; good display glass.
