Lot (3) Wempe, Hamburg, lot includes one marine chronometer, one Ship's Bell clock, and one barometer, one runs - [1] Marine chronometer, fusee-drive with spring detent escapement and 56-hour winding indicator, gimbaled gilt tub set within a two-tier mahogany box with upper display glass, Wempe Chronometerwerke plaque to front, silvered dial of approximately 4 inch diameter, KWKS (a key is included within box as pictured), spring detent escapement with capped escape wheel, free-sprung bi-metallic balance with hairspring, spotted gilt damascene, s#6902 to dial. [2] Ship's Bell clock, quartz, plated metal case mounted on wooden base, metal with some flaking and oxide, NR, not tested with a new battery, inner portion of case with a small piece of plastic broken off but remaining present.
