APW - Hamilton, Grade 975, 17J, 16S, 14K multicolor gold box hinge HC recase with beautiful engraving detail including a stag head and floral details to rear, and front shield surrounded by floral details, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial, SW-SS, nickel damascene, gilt regulator assembly and mvt screws, s#1071032. Gross weight of assembled watch 65.5 dwt (101.9 g). Comes with plush fitted box. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright plates, few short micro-fine scratches; dial nearly flawless within visible portion with only tiny edge flake to inner portion of outer chapter at 12; hands nearly mint except for small spot of oxide to minute tip; case with uneven rippled appearance to front shield indicating polished removal of initials and some light traces of initials still remain, otherwise case shows very little wear, front lift spring is slightly weak as it is making contact with lid but is allowing lid to tip slightly towards closed with gravity, good engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows light wear; glass crystal with few micro-fine scratches. Box shows light wear, name and date crudely written in ink to inside top. Estimate: $3,000 - $3,500 JH-78957
