EPW - Tavannes, Swiss, "La Captive" shuttered travel or purse watch, Cyma movement, 44mm width x 33mm height when closed, sterling silver original case with attractive black and olive green enameled exterior, silvered dial with applied gold Breguet numerals, SW-SS, lever escapement, 15J, fausses côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#3068 within case. A very attractive example of this desirable watch type. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some toning of plates; excellent dial; excellent hands; case shows little wear, enameling fully intact; crown shows light wear; glass crystal with fine spotting visible when observed closely.
