Elgin, Father Time, Grade 367 marine chronometer with free-sprung lever escapement and winding indicator, 21J, 18S, gimbaled brass tub set within a three-tier mahogany box, white enamel DS dial of approximately 2.25 inch diameter, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement with free-sprung balance, diamond endstone, ornate nickel damascene, s#15154451. CONDITION: CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, a few fine scratches to plates and wheels, hardly any oxide to plates; excellent-plus dial with a few light surface spots; nearly mint hands; tub and gimbals show light wear, gimbals with good function, tub with some finish loss and many scratches to bottom, spotting/oxide to inner bezel, good glass crystal; box with larger sized replacement upper lid which prevents top latch from functioning, this lid also with an "A" scratched into its surface, otherwise box shows light wear, good display glass, bottom button latch good.
