LPW - Breting Brothers, Geneva, 40mm, 18K gold drum style original HC with mock crown serving only as a push for release of front latch, beautiful crisp floral engraved motif frames set against vermicelli detail, bow with chain guards, signed gold cuvette bearing attributes, white enamel SS dial, moon hands, KWKS (key not included with this lot), lever escapement, 15J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#567 within case. Gross weight of assembles watch 32.2 dwt (50.0 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, center bridge and portions of train bridges with past polishing causing reduction of damascene detail, small dark surface spot to center wheel bridge, very few short fine scratches, few tiny spots of oxide to steelwork; visible portion of dial with few hls emanating from center hole; excellent hands with very light oxide; case front lift spring is missing, case shows very little wear, scattered dings to rear, few small shallow dents to cuvette, very few tiny nicks to band, superb crisp engraving detail; tight bow, mock crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
