LPW - Waltham, 9J, 1S, 10K gold drum style HC with "Waltham" hallmark indicative of this gold content, attractive floral engraving detail, small home scene engraved to rear, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, frosted and nickel damascene, s#4233409. Gross weight of assembled watch 25.3 dwt (39.4 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered micro-fine scratches; dial with scattered hls; excellent hour hand and seconds-hand, poor minute hand with full loss of finish; case shows little wear, few dings, good engraving detail, case front leaving some gap to band when closed which is mostly due to inappropriately tall plastic crystal and when bezel and crystal are removed case closes much closer to flush with only a narrow sliver of gap to band; tight bow canted somewhat toward one side, crown shows little wear; plastic crystal is taller than appropriate causing impediment to case front closure and should be replaced with a crystal of appropriate height.
