Clock - Walsar Wald 8-day travel clock, original faux tortoise shell case with gilt brass accents, case measures 4.25 inches x 3.25 inches, gilt dial with black painted Roman numerals, SW-SS, lever escapement, 15J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#1271978 within case. Comes as pictured with a black leather box. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, crown turns very roughly when turned in reverse direction for "coast" when winding, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, toning and scattered small dark areas to plates, marring to balance cock at screw that is slightly recessed below plate level, few fine scratches to plates, oxide to regulator; dial with patched chip and associated hls emanating from it at 3, edge flake under bezel near 4, mild edge rub under bezel; excellent hands; case shows little wear, few scuffs and fine scratches throughout, no dents or dings, slightly reduced engraving detail; crown shows little wear; good glass crystal. Box shows light wear, light scuffs and scratches to lid, button latch good; interior with light staining to fabric. Estimate: $200 - $400 JH-77741
