WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer bubbleback, ref 5045, circa 1948, 32mm x 39mm to lug tips, 17mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with engine turned 18K rose gold bezel, brown leather strap, refinished silvered dial with applied gold indices, 18J, s#659123, triple signed, inside back ref 4392. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, seconds hand stutters, overhaul recommended, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, fine scratches to rotor and plates, hardly any oxide, good rotor axle; fine-plus refinished dial with surface spotting and several fine scratches; fine-plus hands with blued steel sweep show light oxide; polished case shows medium wear, several small dings throughout case sides and lugs, several small chips in case back metal; replacement crown shows light wear, threads in half a turn; good plastic crystal with a few fine scratches that would benefit from a polish; resealed for auction.
