Tobias & Co, Liverpool, Swiss-made mvt, 48mm, 18K gold (tested via XRF analysis) original OF case, signed gilt cuvette bearing attributes, gold dial with beautiful castle, bridge, and seaside scene, KWKS (key not included with this lot), lever escapement, 15J, balance with parachute shock and compensation curb, gilt mvt, s#13335 and s#3536 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 45.0 dwt (69.9 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance is gummy, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered mild surface spots and marks; excellent-plus dial with some scattered mild small contact marks, superb engraving detail; case shows very little wear, ding to band near 6, some small dings to rear, dings to cuvette, excellent engine turning detail, cuvette with some gilt loss at perimeter areas; bow pivots freely; good glass crystal.
