LPW - Waltham, Appleton, Tracy & Co, 15J, 10S, heavy 18K rose gold drum style original A.W.Co. HC with attractive black tracery enamel detail including floral design to rear, gold cuvette with 1871 presentation engraving, white enamel SS dial, KWKS (a key is included with this lot as pictured), gilt mvt, s#495612. Comes as pictured with an attached gold-plated split-ring, a 14K gold swivel and jump ring, and a gold-plated winding key. Gross weight of assembled watch with attached items excluded 52.6 dwt (81.8 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, likely broken balance staff, overhaul needed, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some haze and small surface spots to plates; dial with edge chip near 8, hl at 11:30; fine hour hand and minute hand of mismatched colors, seconds-hand is missing its tail; case shows little wear, rear with shallow horizontal crease-type depression above center, few dings to perimeters of front and rear, front enamel fully intact, rear enamel with some losses at upper portions; tight bow, push shows little wear; good glass crystal.
