WW - Elgin Type A-11, manual wind, 31mm x 39mm to lug tips, 16mm lug width, original chrome-plated base metal screw back case with U.S. Army contract details engraved to case back, no strap, original black dial with white painted Arabic numerals, 16J cal 539, s#L99066, triple signed. Includes original Elgin hang tag and plastic case. A beautiful example of an incredibly popular WWII military watch that would fit right into anyone's military, WWII, or American field watch collection. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good hack function, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, a few fine scratches to plates, light spotting to barrel, no oxide; fine-plus original dial, some paint loss around dial perimeter, small white splotch around 4; excellent hands, it appears that the minute and seconds hands have been repainted; unpolished case shows hardly any wear, a few fine scratches to case sides, no major dents or dings; original crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal.
