LPW - Elgin, 13J, 8S, 17K gold (tested via XRF analysis) box hinge drum style HC with slightly inaccurate 18K marking, attractive engraving details, rear with mountainside cabin scene within frame, front with monogrammed initials, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, s#1685582. Gross weight of assembled watch 48.2 dwt (74.9 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fair cosmetic mvt condition overall, cloudy haze with scattered dark spots, dark toning and spot to barrel, ample pitting and some short fine to micro-fine scratches to plates, light oxide to regulator; visible portion of dial with many prominent hls, short deep scratch at 3; fine minute hand, fair hour and seconds with ample finish loss; case cuvette hinge is damaged despite evident solder repair and has difficulty snapping shut, profuse evident solder repair to planchet visible inside rear, small solder repair to lower-right front edge, case shows light wear, many scattered dents, good engraving detail; bow pivots freely, crown shows ample wear with some up/down play; good glass crystal.
