LPW - James Lemly, Geneva, 42mm, 18K gold original HC with beautiful enamel detail, rear with scene of a colorful cluster flowers beneath a basse-taille sky in peach and light blue tones and rear scene is framed in dark blue enamel detail, front of case with sky blue enamel which includes a marking of "Grindelwald" at lower perimeter, signed gold cuvette bearing attributes, white enamel SS impressed dial, KWKS (a key is included with this lot as pictured), lever escapement, 15J (the inconsistency with cuvette "13 Ruby Jewell'd" marking is due to convention of this era of not including cap jeweling in total count), 15J, s#22394 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 33.3 dwt (51.9 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking sluggishly, overhaul recommended, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, haze and small spots to portions of gilt surfaces; dial flawless in visible portion; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, few small dings to cuvette, ding to lower-left shoulder of rear which is more evident to inner surface of lid, rear enameled scene substantially intact with small edge chipping at lower-right and shallow flaking at portion of upper-right, rear areas of loss to surrounding blue enamel, front enamel fully intact; tight bow, push shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
