LPW - Unsigned Swiss, miniature pendant watch, 28mm, 14K gold OF original case with exquisite raised chased foliate detail, five diamonds inset to rear, swivel pendant watch ornate bow, gold cuvette with Christmas, 1919 presentation, fancy white enamel SS dial with numerals in dark blue, minute chapter in gold and silver foil, and seconds-register index in gold foil, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, likely 18J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#68673 with matching serial number within case though third digit of case serial number was lost to punching of Swiss 14K gold hallmark. Gross weight of assembled watch 15.5 dwt (24.2 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking sluggishly with low amplitude, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered micro-fine scratches; excellent-plus dial with few scattered small fine scratches and pinpoint surface nicks; nearly mint hands; case shows virtually no wear, no dents, exquisite chased detail, rear diamonds all present; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
