LPW - Weil Freres, Genève, miniature pendant watch, 28mm, 18K gold OF original case with delightful polychrome enamel pastoral scene to rear, seed pearl-set bezel and rear perimeter, signed gold cuvette, fancy white enamel dial with blue numerals within gold foil surrounds, silver foil half hour decorations, SW-pin-set, cylinder escapement, 10J, gilt mvt, s#1009 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 12.7 dwt (19.8 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running but winding and setting are very challenging as these mechanisms are slipping out of engagement, overhaul needed for this issue, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, darkened toning to portions of plate perimeters; nearly flawless dial with few minuscule edge nicks under bezel; fine hands with areas of darkening; case shows very little wear, scratch to band at 1:30 extending slightly on to rear perimeter, few pinpoint nicks to band, enamel fully intact, all seed pearls present; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
