WW - Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, manual wind, 33mm x 41mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original 18K yellow gold snap back case with stepped claw lugs, brown crocodile strap, cleaned silvered dial with applied gold Roman numerals that has aged a golden champagne hue, 17J cal 458/2B, case s#310912, mvt s#47689. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 19.9 dwt (30.9 g). Our photographs make the spider-webbing on this truly delightful mid-century Vacheron stand out, but in person the effect is much more subtle. They catch the light in a wonderful way, giving the romantic effect of aged parchment. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, small scuff and a few fine scratches to plates, no oxide; excellent original dial that has spider-webbing throughout the lacquer; excellent-plus gold hands show hardly any wear; polished case shows very little wear, a few small dents to case back; Calatrava cross crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000 JH-79999
