EPW - Unsigned Swiss, three-hammer minute repeater with carillon strike on three gongs, 54mm, heavy 18K gold original A.F. & Ce. (A. Fueslin & Cie.) HC with Jürgensen-style lips, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-pin-set, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, 26-33J, gilt mvt, s#12724. Gross weight of assembled watch 84.3 dwt (131.1 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, portions of steelwork with evident past polishing include crown wheel hub, escape gong block, upper surfaces of repeat hammers, and steel caps of balance jewel and escape jewel; visible portion of dial with hl at 4; fine hands, hour hand and seconds-hand are blue, minute hand is plum colored; case shows little wear, ding to band at 11, nick to lower center of front, few dings to cuvette, cuvette with play at hinge and we suspect its hinge pin may be broken, case front opens slightly short of 90 degrees and lift spring allows it to tip a small bit further toward closed with gravity; tight bow, crown shows little wear; plastic crystal with profuse fine scratches.
