EPW - Jacot frères, Locle, minute repeater, 56mm, very heavy 18K gold original Jacot frères HC with small Jurgensen-style lips, bow with chain guards, signed gold cuvette, glazed mvt observation cover, white enamel SS dial, SW with setting engaged by depress of a tab under bezel at 4 and setting releasing when case front is closed, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, wolf's tooth winding, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#199313 to case. Gross weight of assembled watch 98.2 dwt (152.8 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good repeat function aside from hands currently being approximately 1 minute out of index, good repeat tone, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some micro-fine scratch abrasions to signature bridge over repeat barrel, some scattered typical mild fine to micro-fine scratches elsewhere; dial with hl from center to edge near 10, two very small hls between center and top of seconds-register, tiny nick to lower-right rim of center hole; nearly mint hour hand and seconds-hand, fine minute hand with oxide to portion of its tip; case front originally with two lift springs but one is presently missing causing lid to need assistance opening and allowing opened lid to fall closed with gravity, case shows medium wear, some scattered dings with majority to rear perimeter including two evidently caused by bow chain guards, central portions of engine turning detail are reduced but remain mostly lightly evident while engine turning at shoulders is fully lost, rear hinge missing an end-cap; bow pivots freely and is thinned at top, crown shows light wear; good glass crystals.
