EPW - Jules Jürgensen, Copenhagen, 54mm, heavy 18K gold original Jules Jürgensen HC with small Jürgensen lips, bow with chain guards, signed gold cuvette with elegant circular foliate surround, white enamel SS dial, SW-bow-set, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, 20-21J, wolf's tooth winding, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#11126 with matching serial number to cuvette. Gross weight of assembled watch 94.6 dwt (147.1 g). A very attractive and excellent example throughout. CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking sluggishly after a twist to start, winding skipping out of engagement occasionally, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some light hazy toning to plates, typical scattered fine to micro-fine scratches; nearly flawless dial with minuscule pinpoint nick to upper rim of seconds-register, few minuscule pinpoint edge nicks under bezel; case front with one of its two lift springs broken and case front needs some assistant through the initial portion of its opening range, case shows hardly any wear, no dents, excellent engine turning detail, case front opens a bit short of 90 degrees; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
