EPW - Joseph Johnson, 25 Church St, Liverpool, lever fusee, 55mm, heavy 18K gold original HC with chased foliate detail to band and pendant, engraved bow, fixed gold cuvette, white enamel dial, slide under dial at 5 for hacking function, KWKS (key not included with this lot), lever escapement, diamond endstone, jeweled fusee arbor, likely 16J, gilt mvt with gilt locking dust-cap, s#23638 with matching serial number within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 90.1 dwt (140.1 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance is gummy, overhaul needed, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some areas of mild haze; nearly flawless dial with few minuscule nicks to rim of seconds-register hole; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, no dents, superb engine turning and engraving detail throughout with the exception of a thin band of slight reduction to engine turning of rear shoulder; tight bow, push shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
