HC, gold cuvette, glazed mvt observation cover, white enamel SS dial, umbrella style hands, SW-SS, gilt mvt, s#65203. Gross weight of assembled watch 119.2 dwt (185.3 g). A notably massive watch, with the case alone weighing approximately four troy ounces. Simply a great piece for the collector that appreciates the satisfying heft of a handful of gold. CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking very sluggishly on a full wind, overhaul needed, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with areas of haze and scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, one case screw is a replacement with smaller sized head also having incorrect finish; dial flawless in visible portion; excellent hour hand and seconds-hand, minute hand is short due to a portion of tip missing; case shows medium wear, ding to band and adjacent edge of front near 12, scattered typical fine scratches and abrasions, front with side-to-side micro-fine scratch striations from an evident past back and forth polishing, reduced engraving detail; tight bow thinned at top, crown shows substantial wear and has been filed with grooves for increased grip; plastic front crystal with some glue excess at its seat, good glass mvt observation crystal.
