APW - E. Howard & Co, Boston, Series VII, deer grade, 15J, N-S (just over 19S), heavy 14K gold original P.A. & Co. HC, gold cuvette, glazed mvt observation cover, spectacular fancy white enamel SS dial with Arabic hour numerals in radial orientation against sky blue backgrounds bordered within gold foil oval shaped surrounds, foil decorations in two shades of gold, multicolor floral detail outside minute chapter, gold foil floral detail around center, fancy gold Louis XV style hands, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#218508. Gross weight of assembled watch 92.1 dwt (143.3 g). Currently in need of overhaul for running condition, but an attractive watch highlighted by one of the most beautiful Howard fancy dials one will ever encounter. CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance is gummy, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, mild abrasion left of "B" in "Boston;" dial very nearly flawless with only a very small edge nick under bezel at 6; nearly mint hands; case shows light to medium wear, ding to band at 12:30, reduced engine turning detail with shoulders ranging from full loss to substantial reduction; tight bow, crown shows medium wear with ridge break; good glass crystals.
