APW - Waltham, P.S. Bartlett, 15J, Model 1883, 18S, very heavy 18K gold drum style original J&S (Jeannot & Shiebler) HC with beautiful engine turning and engraving detail including an initialed front shield surrounded by ornate floral detail, gold cuvette with Christmas, 1890 presentation engraving, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, frosted and nickel damascene, s#3607278. Gross weight of assembled watch 100.0 dwt (155.6 g). A very impressive and notably heavy 18K gold hunting case. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, scratch to right side of barrel bridge, some oxide to steelwork; visible portion of dial with scattered hls, light circular line of hand drag within seconds-register; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, mild subtle soft ding to left shoulder of front, superb engine turning and engraving detail, cuvette with some looseness and play at hinge and we believe its hinge pin is likely broken, cuvette with perimeter scrape from a slipped past opening; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal. Estimate: $6,400 - $7,400 JH-79980
