Bartlett, 17J, Model 1883, 18S, heavy 14K gold box hinge drum style original HC with beautiful ornate engraving detail, rear with town and stone bridge scene within frame, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial with impressed center, morning glory hands, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#7132922. Gross weight of assembled watch 96.2 dwt (149.6 g). An exquisitely beautiful heavy gold box hinge hunting case in superb crisp condition. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates, long scratch below s#, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, medium oxide to steelwork; visible portion of dial with cluster of edge hls between 12 and 1 and extremely faint hl at 6, some fine scratches within center section, many short micro-fine scratches within seconds-register; excellent hour hand, fine-plus minute with medium oxide, fine seconds-hand with ample oxide and finish loss; case shows hardly any wear, no dents, superb crisp engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows very little wear,; good glass crystal.
