Stunning 16K gold and carnelian double-sided armorial wax seal and fob seal, armorial cote of arms engraved into a dark green bloodstone, accompanied by the Latin phrase "Labore et honore" which translates to "With work and honor," the reverse side features a less formal stamp likely used in day-to-day correspondence, original leather-wrapped case with a blue velvet interior and brass fittings. Gross weight of seal without box 17.9 dwt (27.8 g). CONDITION: Excellent stone handle condition, one fine imperfection to edge, scattered micro-fine scratches to gold components, two small dings to lower rim, good seal detail; box shows medium wear to leather, excellent interior condition.
