Stunning 16K gold Victorian wax seal, beautifully ornate gold base with a citrine quartz handle, engraved white agate seal features a lion surrounded by a belt inscribed with the Latin phrase "Esse quam videri" which translates to "to be rather than to seem." Gross weight of 16K fob 26.7 dwt (41.6 g). CONDITION: Handle in nearly flawless condition with two marks to top; excellent condition gold base with two small indents to lower edge, excellent sealing face condition.
