WW - Wempe B-Uhr Type A, World War II oversized flight watch issued to the German Luftwaffe, manual wind, 55mm x 65mm to lug tips, 27mm wire lug width, original Parkerized base metal snap back case, "1980" engraved to case back, "FL23883" found on edge of case, black leather strap, original black "Type A" dial with large painted Arabic numerals, 22J cal 31 signed GERH. D. Wempe, s#BLT1980, triple signed. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, light spots to plates, very light toning to gilt finish; excellent-plus original dial; original blued steel kite shaped hands that have been relumed; refinished case shows light wear, original finish losses have been covered by a color-matched coating, a couple of small dings to case back; crown shows very little wear; good plastic crystal.
