WW - Hamilton Mount Vernon, manual wind, 27mm x 41mm to lug tips, 19mm screw lugs, original yellow gold-filled snap back case with unusual screw lugs, engraved personalization to case back, burgundy leather strap, original silvered dial with black painted Arabic numerals, 17J cal 987-F, s#4220694, triple signed. Includes Hamilton box and guarantee certificate. The Mount Vernon is an incredibly rare Hamilton model with roughly 3,100 produced in both yellow and white gold-filled over a two year production span. It is estimated that around 1,700 examples were produced in yellow. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, spotting and a few fine scratches to plates, hardly any oxide; excellent original dial with a few very light surface spots and some wear and surface stains around perimeter; excellent-plus blued hands; polished case shows light wear, several small dings throughout case sides and bezel, some wear to the gold-fill on lower portion of bezel, a few small dings to the screwed in lugs; crown shows light wear; plastic crystal has a few medium scratches and would benefit from a polish. Box and papers show light wear, some rips around the corners of the blue cardboard box. Estimate: $800 - $1,200 JH-81019
