EPW - Charles Horner, North Gate, Halifax, center-seconds keyless lever with Kew rating, "Kew 82.3" marked to mvt, 52mm, 18K gold OF case bearing Chester hallmarks for 1887, casemaker's "W . S" in cameo, slide on band near 1:30 presumably for stop/start function but not currently operating, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-pin-set, fully capped lever escapement, likely 19J, gilt mvt, s#33132, case s#29346. Gross weight of assembled watch 75.1 dwt (116.9 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition, light surface haze, some scattered micro-fine scratches; nearly flawless dial with some light surface dirtiness; nearly mint hands, slight bend to sweep-seconds tip; case shows medium wear, dents and dings to band, numerous dings throughout rear, reduced engraving detail; tight bow thinned at top, crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
