EPW - Nathan Ruben Fränkel, Frankfurt, Germany (marked only to mvt as this firm's registered "NRF F" trademark within triangle shape), 56mm, heavy 14K rose gold drum style original HC with monogram initials to front, gold cuvette, angular bow, white enamel SS dial, SW-shift-locking-LS, lever escapement with moustache counterpoise, white metal hairspring, 16J, wolf's tooth winding, gilt mvt, s#28175 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 83.6 dwt (130.0 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, white spot to left side of ratchet wheel bridge, smaller white spot to crown wheel bridge, some scattered micro-fine scratches; nearly flawless dial with few micro-fine scratches, seconds-register presumably re-secured as evidenced by very small bits of glue evident at portions of its seat; nearly mint hour hand and seconds-hand, fair minute hand with ample areas of oxide and finish loss; case shows very little wear, no dents, excellent engraving detail, front and rear lids open a small bit short of 90 degrees; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
