EPW - Longines, Swiss, minute repeater, 51mm, very thin with front-to-rear thickness of only 7.5mm with crystal included, 18K gold OF original Longines case with flush rear hinge, signed gold cuvette bearing medallions, silver dial, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, 25-33J, gilt mvt, s#3524 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 43.5 dwt (67.7 g). CONDITION: Mvt: NR, will tick for a short time with some prodding and occasionally continues for some minutes before stopping, good repeat function aside from hands being approximately 1 minute out of index to strike, good tone to hour strikes, minute strikes with some rattle, overhaul needed, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, crown wheel bridge with shallow curved depression, some scattered micro-fine scratches, steel pallet bridge and base of repeat gongs with micro-fine scratch striations from sanding, escape cap with evident polishing; dial with some overall darkening, some scattered mild spots and fine scratches, evident past sanding marks to portions of enamel numerals; fine-plus hands with some oxide; case shows little wear, no dents, few pinpoint nicks to band; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
