EPW - Freres Plan a Geneve, virgule fusee, 45mm, 18K multicolor gold OF original case with beautiful engine turning and engraving detail, rear center with small scene of a dog sleeping in front of a fruit basket, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 4, KWKS (key not included with this lot), virgule escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and engraved foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, no visible s#. Gross weight of assembled watch 52.3 dwt (81.4 g). Materials tested via XRF analysis. A beautiful piece with scarce escapement type. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, superb gilt tone, small scratches around pillar pin positions, some mild fine to micro-fine scratches elsewhere to main plate, few small scratches to regulator index disk, minor oxide to coqueret which also shows micro-fine scratch striations likely from polishing; dial with cluster of perimeter hls between 5 and 6, micro-fine surface scratch at 6, thin small edge chip under bezel at 12; excellent hands though of mismatched gilt color; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, superb engine turning and engraving detail; bow pivots freely; good domed glass crystal.
