EPW - Jan Heyder, Amsterdam, verge fusee with calendar, 60mm, silver OF cases, outer marked "Lacroix" in cameo, inner with incuse "T M" marking, silver champlevé dial with openwork foliate scroll central portion contrasting against underlying gilt dial plate and having two birds and signature banner within its upper portion and aperture for date within its lower portion, KWKS (key not included with this lot), verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge with scrolls, flags, animals and dolphin in armorial display, elaborate wide scrolled pillars, no visible s#. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good calendar function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered fine scratches, abrasions, and nicks; excellent dial, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches; excellent hands; outer case shows medium wear, a moderate patina, hairline fracture to upper perimeter which terminates at an evident past repair of a soldered patch of silver, scattered mild dings, button latch good; inner case shows light wear, some mild circumferential indentation of sides, protruding ding right of center rear, fine scratches to rear, what appears to be an intentionally scribed directional arrow above winding arbor incorrectly indicating a clockwise wind (please properly wind counterclockwise and disregard this incorrectly scribed arrow); bow pivots freely; good domed glass crystal.
