LPW - Elgin, Gail Borden, 11J, 10S, 10K gold drum style original HC with attractive engine turning and engraving detail, front with initials, rear with majestic swan, mock crown serving only as push for release of front latch, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), gilt mvt, s#883002. Gross weight of assembled watch 37.1 dwt (57.7 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, short scratch at case screw area, some mild fine to micro-fine scratches and surface spots elsewhere; dial excellent in visible portion though with surface dirtiness; excellent hour hand, fine minute hand with oxide to spade and tip, seconds-hand is a bit shorter than appropriate; case with evident repair of front hinge with solder visible internally and externally, case lift spring not functioning to open lid without assistance, case shows little wear, scattered denting and dings to front and rear, good engine turning and engraving detail; tight bow, mock crown shows little wear; clean plastic crystal.
