LPW - Hamilton, Grade 985, 19J, 0S, gold-filled OF original Hamilton case with initials to rear, cuvette with signature ring and with 1917 presentation engraving, swivel pendant, white enamel dial, SW-SS, jeweled barrel arbor, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#1257267. An attractive high grade pendant watch which is scarce with original Hamilton case. CONDITION: Mvt: Ticking sluggishly, crown slips easily into setting position unless given a touch of downward pressure when winding, surfaces with some evident dirtiness, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some toning of plates, scattered micro-fine scratches, steelwork with some small bits of mild oxide; dial with small edge chip at 2, small edge nick at 6, perimeter hls between 6 and 7; case shows light wear, prominent ding to bezel near 4, shallow crease type dent above center rear, good engraving detail; tight brassy bow, crown is an inappropriate replacement that is seated excessively high; glass crystal with sloppy glue excess at its seat.
