Hamilton, Model 21 US Army chronometer with break circuit attachment, fusee-drive with spring detent escapement and 56-hour winding indicator, within brass tub, silvered dial of approximately 4 inch diameter with "Property U. S. Army" marking in red, KWKS (key not included with lot), spring detent escapement with capped escape wheel, 14J, mono-metallic free-sprung balance with helical Elinvar hairspring, balance lock, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#2E5673 with matching serial number to dial. Includes an aluminum, shipping container. An attractive piece with scarce U.S. Army marking. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, break circuit attachment function untested, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, few small fine scratches; dial with some small mild spots in visible portion, typical perimeter scrape under bezel; fine hands with radium painted tips; tub shows little wear, some scattered dark spots; glass crystal with some scratches.
